Sagehuz (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the mobile application
Detect Hidden Camera (the “App”), package name
com.sagehuz.detecthiddencamera. The App is provided
free of charge and is supported by advertising.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access or process, how that information is used, and your choices. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment information to use the App. We do not maintain a user database or cloud account for the App.
The following data is accessed or generated locally on your device to provide App functionality. We do not receive this data on Sagehuz servers.
Used for Infrared (IR) detection only. Camera frames are analyzed on your device in real time to highlight possible IR light sources. We do not record, upload, or store video or photos on our servers.
Required by the Android operating system for Wi‑Fi network scanning and Bluetooth device discovery on many devices. Location data is used by the system to enable these scans; the App uses it to list nearby Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth devices and does not send your GPS coordinates to Sagehuz servers.
Used to discover Wi‑Fi networks and connected devices on your current network when you use the Wi‑Fi scan feature. Results are shown only on your device.
Used to discover nearby Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices when you use Bluetooth scan or “Find BT Device” features. Device names, signal strength (RSSI), MAC addresses, and related metadata from public broadcasts may be displayed in the App. This information is not uploaded to Sagehuz servers.
Used for the magnet sensor feature to measure magnetic field strength and help detect unusual magnetic activity near objects. Sensor readings are processed on your device only.
Used to provide haptic feedback when the magnetometer detects a significant spike, if supported on your device.
The App is free and shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and use information such as:
This data is used to deliver, measure, and personalize ads and to prevent fraud. For more information, see:
You can limit ad personalization in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording may vary by device).
If you download the App from Google Play, Google may collect information according to its own policies (e.g., device information, crash reports if you opt in).
The App requires internet access primarily to load and display advertisements. Core detection tools (IR, magnetometer, Wi‑Fi/BT listing) do not require sending your scan results to Sagehuz over the internet.
The App may participate in Android’s backup and restore mechanism for certain app settings. Backup content is controlled by your device and Google account settings, not by Sagehuz servers.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at sagehuz.com@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

Because we do not operate accounts or store your scan data on our servers, we may not be able to delete data we never received. We will help you exercise rights where we are legally responsible.
The App is offered globally. If you use the App outside your home country, information processed by third parties (such as Google AdMob) may be transferred to and processed in countries including the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
We design the App to process sensitive operations on your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use the App as a helpful aid only; it does not guarantee detection of hidden cameras or devices.
Detect Hidden Camera is a consumer privacy-assistance tool. Results may include false positives or false negatives. Always verify findings physically and follow local laws. The App does not replace professional security inspections or law enforcement.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes may also be communicated through the Play Store listing or in-app notice where appropriate.
